Mahiru Koizumi experiences a traumatic event on Jabberwock Island, has a dream where she is in a hospital room, then wakes up crawling out of a Vandare woman's television. This is the realm of Ryslig and the date is July 18th, 155. Mahiru is recommended to find work for room and board with an old Bavanite woman. (This is the Vandare woman's former employer and the grandmother of her late fiancee.) She is provided pocket change and directions. Armed with fare for a bus to Bavan, she sits next to RENA. Getting off she has no way of dealing with RISE or MRS. MANKANSHOKU. At least she has money where she patronizes the cafe of MADOKA, a fully transformed Wendigo. She directs AKABANE to a large grocery store. On her way in, she witnesses both SHO and KUROSAKI committing muggings. By the 19th she is settled enough to encourage KURT on the network and meets SAKAKI on the streets. When night falls she is robbed by AZULA.

On the 22nd she begins to change in a manner described here. By the 23rd a network post arises from someone Mahiru eventually deduces is Sakaki's friend YUZU. She is losing her grip by the 24th and the last person she sees is their mutual friend GONGENKAZA. That night deteriorates until she commits her first kill and later meets AKABANE. She feels better by the 27th and enters THE CARDHAUS, but eventually attempts to murder Kurosaki. While she messages OKUMURA about Tanabata on the 28th and CHIE about her birthday on the 29th, her second kill occurs and her state has deteriorated rapidly until the end of the month when she is found and savaged by MADOKA.

August

So on the 4th she wakes up in Dyster, like JOLYNE. She hopes to have seen a familiar face in YUGO. Later she finds a laptop with the help of KURUMI; the post apocalyptic girls get along well and they add each other. This helps when she reunites with RENA. Not so much in the case of KILLUA. MAMI is the first helpful monster Mahiru sees and she's so relieved. KIMISHIMA explains faerie rings and treats a trap injury. MARCO helpfully directs her to the faerie ring of ATHENA. Finally in Bavan, Mahiru receives pamphlets from KIEREN and inboxes SAKAKI.

The next day dawns disrupted by a joint post from TANAKA + KUZURYU. The next day they meet in her hotel room. That evening she makes a post about a camera. The day comes and she helps JOLYNE, attends TANABATA. TBD DATE meets privately with KURUMI (LOG). On the 9th messages
OLETTE and attends PANDEMONIUM MINGLE in the evening. By the 10th she has settled into her work shift just enough to be shocked at new coworker KUROSAKI. FORD AND BLACKQUILL are very receptive to her information about July on the 11th. To better prepare for proliferation, on the 13th she buys a purse and runs into AMELIA. The Fog sets in on the 14th as she gets the courage to approach VIETNAM. At the height in the 17th science drives her to meet and provide a blood sample for TREY.

By the 19th the Fog has cleared and she finally has a proper talk with KUZURYU about the rest of the canon events. Guilt clouds her mind during a shift at work plagued by radio prank calls, but she gets along pretty well when she ends up serving the host himself, IV. Having gotten paid around the 20th she takes KURUMI AND RENA shopping. However later that same afternoon a rash of disappearances begins, as she is told by KUROSAKI. Mahiru doubts speculation by MASON that this was voluntary and becomes stressed, enough to carry around her messenger bag waiting for notifications about Kurumi and Sakaki but instead Yuzu kills a man in a very dark alleyway right before IV takes an unexplained hiatus from the radio. The street victims return on the 28th, including MAMI, who puts memorials into her mind. The next day Mahiru goes to visit SAKAKI and give him a photo of Gongenkaza, only to be eaten.

September

On the 4th (bleary after her conversation with Tikbalang and Olette) she throws together an overnight bag and heads to the residence of RENA. Her absence during changes, and recovery with only a power and weakness and eye-enhanced migraines, has severely worried KURUMI. She asks KUROSAKI if she is fired. Only on the 5th has she recovered enough to head back into work, though not before hearing about the beach trip organized by KAITO and notifying IV when he checks on her. (A week later this leads to the formation of DEAD KIDS SUPPORT GROUP.) Armed with sunglasses from KURUMI, she runs into BEATRICE around the 9th. On the 10th TANAKA helps her with a scheme to photograph cats for SAKAKI under an alias.

On the 20th she attends the BEACH PARTY though I don't tag.. [Jolyne; Kieren; self with Reira and IV]. [Kurosaki inbox] VENGARL explains what happened. Rena runs away; during this interval Mahiru spends a lot of time with Rin.
