It's probably less technical and more--I go for what would provide the most impact. A newspaper's gotta sell. Tengu ratings and paper competitions can be cutthroat. Setting something on fire is the best way to rise up in a blaze of glory.
Taking photos for remembrance... I might've done that before. But it may have been so long ago I've forgotten when.
